How you got started in rugby:

There was a try-out at our school in our last year of high school, where I fell in love with all the elegance and violence of the sport and the feeling of strength that comes with it. Unfortunately, I broke my foot a couple of weeks later and started playing only a year later at the local rugby club. 

What rugby means to you:

I never played a team sport before, and having a team that backs you in every decision you make on the field and supports you on and off the field is truly amazing. I want to work on my skills and on myself, not only for me, but to contribute to the team, because teammates depend on my performance on the pitch. The physical and mental strength rugby can provide, especially for women, can transfer in so many aspects of life. It's the best sport that combines strength, speed and strategy.
