Rugby to me is more than just a sport. It’s a connection—back to home, to weekends with friends, and to the values I grew up with. It’s the mix of grit and camaraderie: working hard for the person beside you, celebrating together, and respecting the opposition. Being Irish, rugby always feels tied to a sense of identity and pride, the kind that brings people together, whether you’re in the stadium, a pub, or watching from halfway across the world. It reminds me of where I’m from and the community that shaped me.
